Our team is growing and we are looking for a Treasury Operations Director to be based in
São Paulo, Brasil


The Treasury Operations Director LATAM is responsible for the correct processing of all day-to-day transactions within the Local PayRetailers LATAM entities.

It oversees, and assure all cashflows, starting at the collection of the end-users located in LATAM up to the payment towards our Local Merchants.

He/she manages and lead specific treasury teams, located in the local entities. The Treasury Operations Director Latam will ensure the timely processing of payments requests. On top of that it oversees and secures cash management processes, develops and implements local treasury operations processes.

The Treasury Operations Director oversees the forecasting on the short and medium term and secures that there are enough funds to comply to all payment obligations.

He/she will make sure a proper communication between Treasury HQ and local Treasury.


Functions:


  • Lead the Local Treasury operational processes from end to end, focusing on the sustainability of Treasury operations.
  • Monitors all cashflows within the local company, ensuring that cash balances are appropriate for the organization's operations
  • Lead the Local Treasury teams and manage team members. Provide coaching, training and development opportunities. Set and agree objectives and targets aligned with the Business and Treasury strategy.
  • Leads on analysis of Treasury topics, such as local cash forecasting and variance analysis Propose processes and workflows to leadership, with the goal of reducing the Company's operation risks
  • Provide periodic training to internal crossfunctional business partners to improve forecasting accuracy
  • Promote the financial planning of the local companies
  • Reviews and input or approve Treasury payments and operational payments
  • Checks, verify and authorize settlement instructions for local merchant volumes to be settle.
  • Monitors Local Partners performance and regular daily collections in corporation with the Treasury HQ.
  • Checks and signs settlement and payment instructions to banks/counterparties.
  • Control operational payments and secure not exceeding budget
  • Specifies team responsibilities, ensuring the timely processing of all (payment) requests.
  • Designs efficient and effective treasury processes and/or improves treasury processes
  • Support in company compliance with our Treasury policies, including quarterly and annual reporting, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with Local CFO's on the implementation of new regulatory requirements and initiatives affecting Treasury related areas
  • Ensure communication of relevant information to Treasury HQ and other internal parties
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and finance managers.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize KPIs for financial and treasury operational controls.
  • Participate in system implementations and other strategic initiatives as needed complete special projects as assigned

Travel Required:
