Your role at Baxter


This position is responsible for all Commercial Excellence's contracts, tenders, pricing, sales compensation, analytics and CRM execution activities for the Latin America South Kidney Care business.

This role will support the portfolio in order to enhance and complete the strategic goals and objectives for over $100M in annual revenue.

The role will be accountable for identifying and implementing standard methodologies across businesses to increase efficiencies and financial vitality with an emphasis on simplification and automation while ensuring compliance with all business, legal and ethics & compliance requirements.

Serve as lead for applicable business process improvements related to Commercial Excellence activities


Your Team

We provide analytical and strategic support to the Sales Operations functions, and work collaboratively with various other teams from Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Legal teams.

What you'll do

  • Directly responsible for leading the contracting and tender process in alignment with the business strategies, staying in sync with all terms of the agreements including, but not limited to, incentive and rebate payments, product price adjustments, product additions and deletions. Collaborate with key account managers, marketing, and sales on the negotiation of these agreements to drive profitability. Interpret data, transform into substantial information and provide recommendations to senior leadership team for decisionmaking.
  • Partner with regional Center of Excellence to advance business intelligence and CRM initiatives within the region.
  • Lead Sales Compensation including plan design, quota development, incentive calculations and performance reporting.
  • Lead pricing execution efforts for tenders and contracts to improve overall profitability for the cluster.
  • Work closely with senior business leaders to drive the development and implementation of practical solutions to address business objectives, goals and/or exceptions. Convert strategy into action.
  • Relationship management at all levels and across functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, IT and other Commercial Excellence groups.
  • Lead multiple, complex projects with broad scope simultaneously both within and outside own functional area.
  • Direct and coordinate all activities of LAS Commercial Excellence team to drive continuous process improvements and organizational efficiencies.
  • Lead and develop team members towards achieving individual and team objectives and goals.

What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree required & MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of commercial operations experience recommended and 3+ years as team leader
Sophisticated English, Portuguese and Spanish preferred.

Ability to evaluate partner needs, prioritize commercial opportunities and complete process improvements.

Deep understanding of customers' business priorities and buying journey as well as Kidney Care go to market strategy.


Unmatched collaborator with a consistent ability to bring team members together to win; effectively interacts and communicates with all levels of management and employees within the company with strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
