Portfolio responsibility

  • Advanced Technology IOL portfolio
  • Cataract diagnostic instrumentation
  • Laser technology (LenSx, Wavelight)
Commercial Execution

  • Meet and exceed allocated budget
  • Increase penetration of ATIOLs
  • Drive full and rapid adoption of LenSx/Verion/ORA according to country priority and business opportunity
  • Upgrade accounts to new technology console and consumables
  • Effectively communicate to surgeons and staff the benefits to patients of the range of Alcon IOLs (especially advanced technology IOLs) in order to drive and facilitate increased sales and marketshare
  • Effectively communicate and demonstrate to surgeons and staff the clinical benefits of new and mature technology in order to drive and facilitate the adoption of Alcon surgical equipment
Operational Effectiveness

  • Collaborating with CAS to provide clinical and training support
  • Ensure technical excellence in support of new and ongoing external and internal training of Alcon devices, particularly for AT's
  • Develop relationships with target customers
  • Foster collaborative relationships for customer problem solving with Safety and Technical Services
  • Accurately maintain administration requirements including CRM database and reporting
Organisation Development

  • Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge
  • Ensure collaboration and communication with all team members to update market intelligence across entire Alcon portfolio
  • Attend congresses, seminars, trade displays and other promotions as required
  • Participate in the Surgical cycle meetings to assist in the development of overall division strategies and activities, as well as provide product training when necessary

  • Compliant with all Alcon policies and procedures
Act in accordance with Alcon Values and behaviours

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company and industry codes and, procedures including but not limited to appropriate and complete reporting of product complaints
  • Effective and timely compliance with company procedures including but not limited to expense reporting and CRM management

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Optometry or
Post Graduate Degree in Clinical Ophthalmology or

Degree in Engineering with experience in Ophthalmic space or

BS/BA in biomedical field or COT/COA preferred


Experience:


  • Ophthalmic experience is essential
- cataract and femtosecond laser refractive surgery
