Description:


A Consultant is required to possess a sound knowledge of the functionalities and limitations in SAP as well exposure to the industry processes and practices being used in the Fashion and Lifestyle space in order to design and develop efficient solutions.

The Consultant should possess skills that are required for him/her to be deployed on a customer engagement.


Essential Functions:




Engage with the customer by:


  • Analyzing the customer's business processes o Proposing and designing solutions in SAP that best fit the business requirements of the customer.
  • Preparing and contributing towards process design workshops, taking direction and configuring/developing SAP solutions, demonstrating and gaining acceptance from the customer.
  • Assisting the customer in testing and validating solutions o Building trust and credibility by consistently delivering assigned tasks on time with high quality.



Working in a team to:


  • Prepare Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, Configuration/Development Documentation, User Training Materials and End User Documentation.
  • Perform configuration/development based on tasks assigned.
  • Prepare functional/technical specification documents.
  • Actively participate in the project team by identifying risks and opportunities where possible.
  • Transfer SAP knowledge to the customer and build relationships and credibility.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks by initiating, following through and developing a plan that is executed and delivered according to the established timelines.

Essential Functions (Continued):




  • Continually develop SAP core skills and business knowledge based on accumulated experience. Use implementation methodology and tools in the project and acquire additional skills in cross-functional areas and enabling technologies.
  • Execute assigned project tasks in areas of demonstrated competence with some direction from a Senior Consultant.
  • Set appropriate priorities based on the assigned tasks and consistently ensures that work outputs are delivered timely and are of the highest quality.
  • Perform any additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when required by the management.

Required Qualifications:



  • Working knowledge in core module of SAP.
  • General understanding of complementary modules of SAP.
  • At least 3 years prior work experience in SAP consulting capacity.
  • A minimum of 1 complete project life cycles in a SAP consulting capacity/experience in every phase of a customer engagement on multiple projects.

Desired Qualifications:



  • General degree or equivalent/recognized professional qualifications.
  • Formal training/certification in core module of SAP is preferred.
