Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in product management, consulting, cofounder or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience building and shipping technical products. 1 year of experience in software development.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Technology or Business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working crossfunctionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience working with one or more of the following; software platform products, content safety or security systems, policy governance, data regulation or other relevant abuse protections.
  • Experience working with largescale systems with high QPS and reliability requirements.
  • Experience in software engineering or developerfacing roles.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.


User Protection is part of the Privacy, Security, and Safety (PSS) organization in Core, with a mission to keep users safe, at scale.

Within User Protection, the Content Safety Platform teams provide a reliable and scalable abuse fighting platform, protecting products (e.g., flagship products such as Maps, Workspace, etc) from displaying malicious content.


  • In this role, you will own and drive a roadmap to deliver abuse fighting capabilities used by all of Google. You will work closely with product and policy partners. You will help develop techniques to keep users safe across multiple products and user journeys, developing scalable solutions needed to meet these objectives. You will collaborate across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities:


  • Define product roadmaps by operationalizing defined strategy.
  • Articulate defined product goals in a way that captures attention and compels others to drive action despite obstacles and priorities.
  • Validate the market size and opportunity (e.g., userbased, strategic opportunity, business growth). Identify opportunities in the market landscape.
  • Collaborate across organizational boundaries and many functions and teams to help develop a platform direction that will help them achieve their goals.
  • Manage Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, program manager, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements.
