Opportunity for Australian-based mineral exploration company.

With projects in Australia and South America, the company is developing mineral projects in commodities that progress global efforts towards Net Zero emissions.

The Accounting Analyst will have a strong focus on Accounts Payable, focused on the Lithium project in the state of Minas Gerais.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting the senior accountant and finance team
Collaborating with finance team to work on various accounting projects
Performing reconciliations of accounts
Processing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods
Assisting with preparation of financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate
Assist with performance report
Assist with annual budget
Other administrative duties

Required knowledge and skill sets:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with experience in accounts payable
Background working in the mining sector is desirable
Advanced level of English
Proficiency in Excel
Previous experience working with SAP ERP is desirable
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work to strict time constraints
The ability to prioritize work
An organized and methodical approach to a task
The ability to multitask
Ability to travel to the project site sporadically
