Position Summary
In this role the Medical Affairs Manager will be the local reference for the products of competence and will be responsible and collaborate with the following activities:

  • Implementation of local HCPs educational plan that includes internal stakeholders activities and external engagement activities with health care professionals, scientific key opinion leaders, health educational institutions and health associations
  • Organize scientific training activities, coordinates scientific information and HCP communication for the areas of its competence (e.g. preparation of scientific documentation, symposia, Medical Education events), verifies the scientific content of research projects deriving from proposals internal or external to the Medical Affairs Department; disseminate technicalscientific contents relating to the educational local activities and materials (technical data sheet, leaflet)
  • Enhance the collaboration, support, and communication among cross functional teams (Medical Affairs, marketing professional and sales teams) for a specific product or group of products and projects or activities
  • Work in strong collaboration with external scientific community in order to facilitate a continuous communication and transfer of knowledge between the company, scientific leaders and a wider group of physicians and customers.
  • Implement activities as outlined in the local educational plans under compliance and regulation with close collaboration with RD and commercial teams as well other activities as external educational classes and scientific exchange related to the product and/or therapeutic area and also act as a key player in the brands educational strategy and concept
  • Organize and lead along other functional partners, Advisory Boards, experts panel and other activities to obtain external insights and guidance when necessary. Engage with professional marketing in the A.I, digital strategy and other related discussions
  • Implement: local scientific plans, diseeminate scientific knowledge in diseases, health conditions, treatment and complementary products, Medical educational programs and materials. MEDICAL-SCIENTIFIC contribution to the business areas, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, company policies and regulations
  • Support local training needs in drug/disease area
  • Liaise with R&D functions as needed and appropriate (eg pure substances requests, PK data requests, clinical insights, clinical data, etc)
  • Maintain a regular external schedule of scientific visits to main scientific institutions, academic centers and scientific leaders to discuss scientific topics of interests
  • Attend all related scientific events according planned annual

Qualifications:


  • Education: Medical or Scientific degree. Medical Doctor or PhD will be an advantage
  • 2+ years of scientific experience in scientific educational activities, medical affairs or in academic research environment
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Knowledge of the Office package
  • Digital health experience and health communication experience will be an advantage
  • Indepth knowledge with HCPS education and clinical data evaluation
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and present complex scientific data in a concise and understandable scientific manner, both orally and in written format
  • Indepth knowledge and handson experience in literature search and clinical data analysis
  • Innovative with the ability to coordinate and drive an exciting environment
  • Ability to optimal manage time and prioritize responsibilities is required
  • Ability to thrive in a global, crossfunctional environment
  • Ability to facilitate decision making in collaboration with others
  • This position includes a lot of external activities therefore it ́s required travel availability (~30%)
