Eaton's seeking for a Continuous Improvment Analyst (Opex) for our Porto Feliz Plant.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for driving projects that result on Costout through improvements to reduce defects and waste, productivity issues and imbalance, walking and waiting time, which focus on improving existing Shopfloor & Office flows to support Hi five metrics. In addition to this position will be required to sustaining the project to ensure the correct implementation and achievement of goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Utilize lean manufacturing and six sigma concepts to structure events and increase customer service, productivity and quality levels, and decrease lead times, scrap and inventory for critical mapped product lines.
Determine efficient and understandable work methods and incorporate improvements for manufacturing, quality and other areas.
Plan, implement and standardize adequate manufacturing methods, tooling, equipment, work center layouts and etc., for new production lines, products and parts in conjunction with their release with Manufacturing Engineer and Quality areas through kaizens.
Support shopfloor, manufacturing, quality and supply chain management areas about OEE and other problems analysis using Structured Problem Solving methods.
Develop and determine accurate labor rates using industrywide accepted standard work measurement techniques for shopfloor and quality areas.
Lead office improvements through flowcharts methods (Blocks, Swimlane, VSM) and standardizing activities and methods, linked with KPIs (Leading and Lagging)
Support and Lead ESB strategic events and assessments as VSM, EBS Pull, OpA, MESH Assessment.
Support quality team to structure ISO 9001:2015 documents and procedures.

Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

Education and Skills required to meet position qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or Similar.
At least 2 years of experience in Continuous Improvemente, Manufacturing Engineering or Lean Manufacturing
Advanced English mandatory
Intermediate Spanish desirable
Must Have Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Tools as VSM, 5S+, Standardized Work, TPM, SMED, Material Flow, Problem Solving Methodology and Six Sigma.
Must have experience in conduct Kaizens in Shop Floor and leading BPI ́s through the processes related of operation (SCM, Maintenance, Quality, etc.)
Must have a Yellow belt lean six sigma certification
Green belt or Black belt Lean Six Sigma will be a differential.
ISO 9001:2015 internal or lead auditor will be a differential.

Preferred/Additional Specialized Knowledge

Six Sigma Belt Knowledge, statistical methods in capability studies, histogram, hypothesis testing, DOE, etc.
Ability to Lead multiple and complex projects, relationships and influence across organizational boundaries.
Basic financial knowledge for Cost, capital plan, asset management, project management, budgeting and profit planning.
Leadership skills.
