Specific responsibilities of the role:


  • Support Senior Finance Project Manager and other project functions as a finance business partner
  • Finance accounting reconciliation of the project (sales, invoicing, costs )
  • Manage the controlling and financial reporting of projects in accordance with Alstom rules
  • Check the accuracy of the data accounted for on the project (Invoices (customer or supplier), timesheets, travel expenses...)
  • Check and control cost movements monthly, compares with forecast, month end closing process.
  • Ensure reconciliation takes place between approved project financial data and books, including project balance sheet items.
  • Support Senior Finance Manager in preparation of project reviews
  • Ensure consistency with project teams (Planner, Sourcing, Supply Chain)
  • Work as a team with other finance areas : management control, treasury, accounting, taxes and internal control.
  • Follows up on receivables.
  • Master Alstom Tools (SAP, Ody C, Qlikview) to analyze and produce financial project information

Previous experience
- ~3 years experience in Industry

  • Preferably having good knowledge in Long Term Accounting principles (cost to cost, PoC)
  • Be able to work in an international high paced environment
