Primary Purporse:

Direct the LA Proving Grounds, keeping Safety as a main Value, making sure the team and facility remains integrated with the Global Technical Operations organization, implementing the Global practices, following the highest standards.

Lead and Facilitate product intelligence management within LA region

Main Responsibilities:

Development of organizational capability through Goodyear Performance management and development processes.

Maintains annual budget for LA Proving Grounds at or below AOP

Ensure LA Proving Grounds quality systems result in delivery of test data in compliance with business and customer/OE expectations and applicable standards (customer, OE, and regulatory).

Management of all proving grounds facilities in alignment with Technical Operations including maintenance, test track priorities and safe day-to-day operations of LA Proving Grounds

Plan and execute short term and long-term additions to and expansion of LA Proving Grounds capabilities, including 5 YR capital plan, staffing, and operational expenses. Manage appropriate RvsC to ensure LAPG continues to meet business requirements.

Ensure completion of CAPEX projects to project plan and spend targets.

Product Intelligence Management – consists of managing accuracy of data and combining all sources of test data (tire development, focus, plant, local programs, proving grounds, other regions) to better support sales team with product value proposition for both consumer and commercial PBU's

Directs Competitive Intelligence Management, facilitating local programs, consolidating Field engineering, OEMs technical data as well as evaluation of Benchmarking Programs

Experience:

Required:

8+ Years Technical experience within technical sales, tire design, tire testing, quality, automotive engineering, or tire manufacturing

Breadth of experience that includes at least 3 areas as described above

Demonstrable leadership skill development

Goodyear product portfolio and application experience

Customer contact and conflict administration expertise

Knowledge and Habilities:

Required:

Bacharel in Engineering

Strong Leadership skills

Strategic thinking

Analytical mindset with problem-solving focus

Collaborative approach to work and conflict resolution

English Language fluent
