Description
The SAP Business Systems Analyst provides specialized SAP functional support to business users provides.

Specifically, this role will be a key member of the Manufacturing team, supporting Manufacturing function in its cross-functional interactions, particularly with the Finance and Project teams.

This individual will also analyse, support and test Information System solutions to meet Manufacturing and Finance business requirements, providing the link between end users and SAP Technical teams.


What you will be doing

  • End user functional support
  • Managing master data in SAP ECC production environment
  • Request/Approve/Revoke SAP user access. Identify possible SOXrelevant user role conflicts and manage user access privileges
  • Documenting AS IS functional processes and maintain process documentation
  • Understanding TO BE processes and communicate them to the technical team
  • Identifying integration points between SAP modules and downstream systems. Coordinate with multiple business functions when necessary
  • Creating and executing test scenarios in SAP test environments. Capture and communicate defects which appear during tests
  • Identifying continuous process improvement opportunities and leading CI initiatives
  • End user training
  • Monitoring end user performance
  • Determining ongoing training needs
  • Supporting S/4 HANA deployment at the BHM site (ETA

What you need to execute this role

  • Strong understanding of business processes, particularly, financial planning and product costing: modelling product costs, calculating and releasing planned costs in SAP CO module (CK40N). Support the Finance function in identifying planned vs actual cost variances
  • Understanding of SAP's segregation of duties matrix and SOX controls: understand appropriate assignment of access rights, by distributing business processes and procedures ownership amongst different users
  • Basic understanding of SAP's standard change management requirements and transport requests
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages (strong MS Excel required)
  • Knowledge of data processing and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, etc)

What we are looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Accounting/Engineering or related fields
  • Working experience as an SAP ECC user, in modules PP/QM or FI/CO is a must
  • Working experience with financial planning, budgets and cost reduction projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in Portuguese and English
  • Problemsolving and change management skills
  • Basic knowledge of JIRA, MS Visio and MS Project is desirable
