Position Description:

The Analyst, Business Operations is accountable for coordinating and acting in support of the region and sub regions. The analyst will work in close partnership with the FM leads and project managers in their region. They also align with analysts in the other regions to share best practices and align globally.


This role is responsible for delivering standardized and consistent reporting within a distinct region n while driving deep alignment across all sub regions.

This role is also accountable for carrying out activities pertaining to financial analysis including CIP, CAPEX and Business Planning, continuous improvement, performance management and governance, and planning and budgeting.

Key relationships include communication and coordination with E&PS partners to ensure successful and accurate reporting. Communications skills are imperative including the ability to explain and support to ensure a successful outcome.


Core responsibilities include:


  • Leads the deployment of an overall region performance management framework to define, analyze and report key performance metrics (scorecards) across the region
  • Works with team members to develop a strategy to assess and analyze the Total Cost of Occupancy for the region, providing clarity on where major costs reside
  • Leads the development of the annual Business Plan for OPEX (run)
  • Supports CIP and CAPEX budgeting for the region in collaboration with Global Workstreams where applicable
  • Partners closely with finance to track budget vs. actual performance for the organization throughout the year including the coordination for the major financial updates
  • Uses metrics and benchmarks (both internal and external) to identify standard methodologies, cost reduction, process improvement and redesign initiatives
  • Assists with special projects/duties/analyses/presentations for management as assigned
  • Develops, drives, and actively participates with other Business Operations leaders to drive harmonization of processes, innovation, continuous improvement and form a Community of Practice
  • Supports FM leaders & site/service managers for their supplier relationship management (SRM) and customer relationship management (CRM) roles
  • Supports and coordinates the effective regional execution of the Global Change Control process

Qualifications:


Required Competencies:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, etc., or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business process development and execution
  • Ability to lead the analysis of sophisticated business processes using various tools such as process mapping, financial modeling, metrics, measures and statistical tools
  • Ability to understand systems requirements, analytical & reporting tools, customer interfaces and data warehouses
  • Ability for direct interactions with engineering, manufacturing, EHS and other technical functions
  • Ability to analyze complex issues using critical thinking, problem solving, sound judgment skills
  • Ability to adapt emerging standard methodologies and industry innovations to E&PS
  • Basic understanding of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
  • Prior business and/or operations experience with strong business analytical skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft skills as a minimum
  • Uses business data, Key Performance Indicators and technology to manage performance, generate insights and drive evidencebased decision making
