The overall purpose of the role:

As a
Corporate Travel Assistant, in a hybrid position in Rio de Janeiro, you will be incumbent to play a vital role in coordinating all domestic and international travel arrangements for the company's personnel.

This includes booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and other necessary arrangements. Efficient travel planning ensures that employees can travel seamlessly, minimizing any disruptions to business activities.

The Travel Assistance provides valuable advice to employees regarding business trips, including essential documentation, time zones, vaccinations, and other travel-related information.

This support ensures that employees are well-prepared for their trips and can focus on their work responsibilities while traveling.


The job is requiring:

- _Coordinate voluminous and diverse Domestic and International travel arrangements including booking of flights, hotels, accommodation, transportation, rental cars, etc._
- _Provide advice on business trips, passing on information about necessary documentation, visas, time zone, vaccinations, and all the paper work for the travellers advising._
- _Serve as a liaison between the client and travel company, handling issues that arise during travel._
- _Arrange for transfers between airports, hotels, offices, etc._
- _Resolve complaints and difficulties for travelers._
- _Track and reconcile travel expenses._
- _Record travel activities to ensure they comply with the company travel policy._
- _Provide guidance to employees on travel documents, insurance, and travel laws._


Requirements:


Essential
- _Fluency in English_
- _Previous experience working in the travel industry with the high daily demand for travel arrangements._
- _Proven customer service experience_
- _Excellent written and verbal communication skills_
- _Strong organizational and time-management skills_
- _Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the aptitude to learn new software and systems_
- _Ability to work independently and with a team_


Desirable
- _ Experience with booking software, such as Sabre or Travelport_
