Communications Manager**As part of the LatAm Communications Team, you will drive communications plans and campaigns aligned with local market opportunities and Brazil business focuses, manage seamless execution, and have a significant impact on Thomson Reuters growth.


About the Role

In this opportunity as Communications Manager, you will:

As an experienced communications professional, you will maintain a strong partnership with business leaders and key internal stakeholders to deliver best in class communications that support the growth of the business in the region, protect and leverage the brand and support a thriving culture.


  • Communicate the corporate brand and messages internally and externally through researching, writing, and editing, press releases, white papers, speeches, internal communications, online communications, and other related documents.
  • Showcase TR as a Thought Leader and support the delivery of a gold standard employee experience.
  • Coordinate the development and execution of tactical Communications plans.
  • Handles media inquiries, creates media opportunities to work our story pillars across the market.
  • Coordinate External and Internal Communications activities such as Town Halls, media events and trade shows.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, being accountable for local communications KPIs. Use Data and Technology More Effectively for BestinClass Communications;
  • Collaborate closely with our global Communications teams to share insights, adopt best practices, and ensure our strategies are scalable and effective.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to amplify our communications impact and reinforce our market presence.
  • Partner, advise and empower internal stakeholders to support a thriving communications culture.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Communications Manager if your background includes:

  • Have at least 5 years in communications, with a preference for those experienced in marketing B2B software, cloud, fintech or content solutions.
  • Demonstrate a resultsoriented approach with a proven track record in datadriven communications, and a drive for continuous innovation.
  • Communicate effortlessly in nativelevel Portuguese, with an advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Show a deep passion for making a direct impact on our brand and the company's growth.
  • Possess the skill to navigate and collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization, engaging with stakeholders across various functions and regions.
  • Have the capacity to work autonomously, managing your priorities to maximize business impact.
  • Exhibit proficiency in coordinating with external agencies and leveraging inhouse expertise.
  • Hold strong relationship management abilities, capable of connecting with internal and external stakeholders and strategic partners.
  • Be a collaborative team player, contributing positively to our collective goals.
