SUMMARY
We are seeking a Hardware Engineer Intern to support electronic development and test with the R&D Engineering Team in Santa Barbara, CA.
This role is well suited for an Electrical Engineering student who is interested in working in a hands-on and team-oriented environment.
Full time during the summer, 10-20 hours/week during the school year. Hours are flexible.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties will include laboratory testing of Embedded Processor and FPGA based Motion Control Systems under supervision of staff engineers as well as various design, process and documentation support tasks related to the development of printed circuit board assemblies.
Critical Competencies
Required:
- Familiarity with the use of logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Proficiency with objectoriented programming languages
Preferred:
- Programming skills in C# and Scripting languages
- Experience with electric circuit analysis
- Familiarity with solder rework

- Completion of 2nd or 3rd year of Electrical Engineering or related Major in College
Compensation
Base Pay Range:
$ $23.31
