Boeing Brazil is seeking
Senior Strategy Development Specialist, reporting to the Strategy Senior Manager, working out of the
Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil office.


The Senior Strategy Development Specialist will to join the Boeing Engineering Brazil team to develop strategic alternatives, drive decision alignment, and deploy strategic initiatives to drive value delivery, innovation and productivity.


The Strategy Development Specialist will develop and deploy strategic alternatives, drive senior leadership decision making, obtain insights and identify enablers to deploy strategic initiatives that will create value to Boeing Engineering, in Brazil and Globally.

In addition, you will cultivate relationships, communicate, integrate across local and global engineering teams, functional teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Coordinates development, integration and communication of strategic alternatives and hypothesisdriven approaches, so as value propositions definition for Boeing Engineering
  • Supports senior leadership decisionmaking through strategic analysis obtains information, identifies key issues and constraints as well as opportunities, develops alternatives and recommends course of action to accomplish a longterm goals / vision
  • Leads business and market research, analysis and benchmarking
  • Develops and incorporates an understanding of the global business environment, as well as economic, social, and political trends that impact the organization's local and global strategy.
  • Leads strategic analysis and integration, identify enablers and alternatives
  • Understands and utilizes economic, financial, and industrial data to accurately diagnose business strengths and weaknesses, identifying key issues and gaps, and developing strategies and plans.
  • Coordinates teams performing project management duties (i.e. planning, managing, reporting) to develop and deliver key strategytoaction initiatives; Monitors projects execution and prioritize projects based on strategic priorities;
  • Cultivates relationships and collaborates openly and effectively with local and global stakeholders, including engineering and functional teams
  • Coordinates multidisciplinary teams to identify, assess, elaborate and track response plans to Risk, Issues and Opportunities; supports roadblocks removal as well as capturing of strategic opportunities;
  • Contributes to long term financial planning alignment to strategic goals.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • In depth experience with strategy development and decision making
  • In depth experience in project management (i.e. scope, schedule, resources, risk management, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in accredited course of study
  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):


  • Knowledge of Aerospace industry and ecosystem
  • Knowledge of Project Management frameworks (ex. PMBOK) and agile methods Experience with Business Intelligence tools (EazyBI, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Experience in integrating tools such as Jira / ADO with Project, etc.)
