Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Payroll Representative, based in São Paulo, Brazil.

About you and this role - What you would do in this role


Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to accounting team in the payroll reconciliations process in monthly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, working with the others payroll representatives to provide the support in the right time.
  • Payroll payments processes and implement controls to minimize errors and discrepancies, guarantee that employees payments will be approved and paid on time, monitoring approvers and bank process.
  • Manage vacations process for Brazil operations, including tracking, processing, support to employees and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations (double vacations, vacations signatures, vacations bonus, collective vacations, etc.)
  • Handle ADP time and attendance system for Brazil operations, including tracking attendance, managing timesheets, support to employees and managers, training sessions for new users and resolving issues any discrepancies.
  • Manage FGTS (Fundo de Garantia do Tempo de Serviço) bank account activities, providing support and orientation to employees and bank account consolidation when necessary.
  • Serve as a backup for time and attendance support for other Latin American countries, including Argentina, Mexico, and Colombia, ensuring continuity of operations and compliance with local regulations.
  • Act as a backup for payroll operations in Latin American countries, assisting with processing, reconciliation, and addressing employee inquiries.
  • Generate Brazil reports and metrics related to payroll operations, providing this information to global team in a monthly basis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Economy.
  • Previous experience in payroll administration or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Required proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Capability to learn and manage differents payroll and T&A system.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Provide Project Management Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Spanish and desirable proficiency in English.
