Purpose of the Job

This position will work with other staff members to make sure procedures and products adhere to established quality standards.

Considerable experience with planning and coordination of activities is required, knowledge about entomology is interesting, but even important is the willingness to learn and the dream of changing the world for the better.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for QC laboratory routine scheduling, as well as resource planning;
Lead the QC Analyst team, guiding and ensuring that activities are executed within the time, quality and safety of the staff;
Perform data analysis, checking whether the results are within expected standards and whether there are opportunities for improvement;
Preparation of management reports and update of internal KPIs;
Participation in technical processes and activities in the QC laboratory, supporting the lab routine and ensuring the delivery of results within the time;
Write and review SOPs, nonconformances, technical reports, and general quality documentation;
Comply with the Quality Program procedures and policies, as well as H&S standards;
Time flexibility for weekends and holidays occasionally when necessary.

Skills, Experience, and Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Food Eng, Chemistry, or related areas;
Strong experience in laboratory routine and resource planning;
Welldeveloped organisational skills;
Demonstrated leadership ability, including team building and cohesion;
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to actively listen;
Good Microsoft Office skills;
Critical vision and good analytical skills;
Postgraduate degree or strong experience in the biotech and/or data analysis fields is an advantage;
Good Manufactory Practice knowledge is a differential;
Advanced English level.
