Main Purpose:


Control all aspects of monthly financial and management reporting, preparation of annual statutory accounts, comply with local, statutory, fiscal/VAT/customs rules as well as any bank covenants.

Provide support to any project development. Risks prevention and forecasting. Support Regional CFO based in Montevideo's regional headquarters with developing banking relationships in Brazil.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Undergraduate University Degree in accounting. IFRS experience.
  • 10 years minimum of experience in supervisory roles
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with time management and scheduling skills
  • Good understanding on Processes and ERP
  • Experience in cost accounting. Experience in trading environment is a plus.

  • Experience in banking relationships and networking with Brazilian banking community is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of the monthly financial and management reporting, including comments and analysis on results and KPIs.
  • Responsible for the statutory and tax books.
  • Comply with GAAP, Tax, VAT, Customs and any other regulations (LME...), controls (internal, policies), bank covenants, etc.
  • Support Business transactions and ensure it is recorded appropriately.
  • Manage the Group's structure to be tax and cost effective.
  • Provide support to Management business development projects.
  • Prepare forecast and business model.
  • Anticipate and identify risks.
  • Optimize administration Process (with ERP, Shared services, etc.)
