They are responsible for the shape and delivery of our people strategy for our internal client groups driving outstanding performance and extraordinary experiences for our employees.


As the first regional People Partner for our LATAM region, you will be the primary People Partner for the regional leaders and HR Generalist Brazil.

In this role, you will provide strategic HR partnership to the regional leaders and their teams and drive cross-functional leadership across the people team and the functional people partners.

You will partner with the leaders in areas such as organizational design, employee relations, culture, and talent enablement to help Databricks' extraordinary growth.

You will also work in partnership with People Ops to drive HR generalist work for Brazil with a particular focus on the work that requires country specific expertise and local oversight.

You will report to the People Partner Leader in EMEA and you will work closely with the functional People Partners in AMER and APAC.


The impact you will have:


  • Establish a partnership with senior leadership is it sales or all business (my understanding is all) as a People Partner and trusted coach that can guide important talent decisions and provide advice and expertise which are tailored for Databricks specific needs.
  • Drive strategic impact with the business through organizational change and development programs, influencing leaders to plan for and address complex organizational design issues for business success and scale.
  • Effectively leverage the wider People Team functions and specifically partner with other Talent Acquisition and the People team members to execute Databricks' business priorities.
  • Crosscollaborate with partner teams to design and manage programs in line with our companywide commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
  • Strategic planning with senior leadership and recruiting to develop hiring plans that support our goals and grow the business.
  • Use data and insights to identify and lead meaningful people initiatives.
  • Partner and consult with our Employee Relations team to manage employee relations issues such as investigations, handling employee disciplinary issues, and performance management situations.
  • Support People operational responsibilities specific to LATAM including, but not limited to, general HR queries and HR system troubleshooting, and provide input for systematic resolution of HR issues.
  • Partner with People Operations team to ensure centralized programs and policies are built in support of the LATAM region and planned growth
  • Collaborate with Global Benefits Team to support LATAM related benefits activities such as locally relevant input on new benefits programs, internally marketing benefits programs, managing leave tracking and helping employees gain a better understanding of leave process and policies

  • Experience delivering as a People Partner plus leadership experience
  • Experience working in a hyperscale organization with experience helping companies scale from 5000 to 7000+ employees
  • Use of HR analytics to generate insights and present findings back to the business
  • Experience building trusted executive relationships
  • Experience creating and executing companywide talent programs
  • Success in creating and implementing organizational design solutions
  • Knowledge of local employment requirements
  • Fluent in English
