SUMMARY


Achieve greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from procurement activities in Brazil and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of cost (TCO), quality, service and innovative solutions.

Contribute to the restructuring of people and processes in the purchasing area, in order to ensure better productivity and stakeholder satisfaction.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage local cost reduction activities on noncentrally led purchased commodities and services (coordinated and local categories). This includes the development and the management of the procurement strategy for these categories. Foster synergies and share best practices within the Region;
  • Set up the right procurement organization in various areas to keep the overall department as cost efficient as possible (based on global procurement KPI's in terms e.g. # of sourcing initiative / year / FTE or spend managed / FTE, # of eAuction / eSourcing, accuracy of the savings tracking,.) and in line with the global procurement strategy which is to maximize the level of Spend control by Procurement up to 8090%;
  • Lead and manage procurement staff: Rebuild the right local procurement team (Recruitment, training, staffing and retention) and process. Build individual development plans with skills plans and performance targets including KPIs. Operational leadership (motivation, delegation, communication, conflict management), Potential assessment, development and career planning;
  • Establish and maintain clear communication channels with key stakeholders (region/country management, operations, other functions) through regular business review meetings.
  • Ensure awareness of procurement achievements and projects across the organization (procurement newsletters, intranet etc.);
  • Implement effective and efficient processes and systems across the end to end process (S2P, SRM);
  • Setup and follow up with Finance on KPIs and detailed reports on region / countries spend overview, vendor landscape, payment terms, PO adoption etc.
  • Participate in the development of the procurement community within Ceva Logistics (e.g. Procurement Academy project, Procurement Management Board, Global Leadership on a category,.)

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Fluency in English is essential;
  • Master's Degree in Purchasing, business administration, finance, engineering;
