Description:


Development of syndicated/club deals and other capital market structures for Wholesale and Rural clients, executing all steps of the process, since the origination up to the disbursement, with the following goals (i) manage the client demand according to the best product approach; (ii) minimize the use of the bank capital; and (iii) generate fees.

Support the Loan Syndication & Capital Markets team with several activities related to syndication/club and capital market deals/pitches, fund raising, internal controls, reports etc.


Main Activities:


  • Support the commercial area strategically in the origination of syndication/ club and capital market deals;
  • Execute the whole process for Loan Syndication deals, starting from the deal origination up to the disbursement;
  • Execute the origination, underwriting and distribution of debt securities for clients, including Rabobank (LCA/LCI);
  • Execute the market reading, sharing the responsibility for pricing all Rabobank's mandates with Seniors ;
  • Syndicalize deals among global and local banks, funds and investors, jointly with Seniors, providing all necessary information and analysis;
  • Represent Rabobank on road shows, issuer calls/updates and pitch meetings;
  • Prepare strategic and objective infomemos, focusing on main risks and mitigants;
  • Prepare strategic pitches based on the demand from clients, banks, funds and investors, after discussing with Seniors;
  • Participate in the credit process, legal documents and collaterals and operational aspects of the deals;
  • Prepare short and objective call reports, including the main conditions identified on the market reading;
  • Build up usual and new good relationships with banks, funds and investors, understanding its demand for F&A;
  • Visit the clients and negotiate the term sheet and the documentation, after aligned with Seniors;
  • Engage in regular communication with clients, banks, funds and investors in order to stay informed of trends/views/etc;
  • Build up good relationships among Rabobank's offices, focused on developing business and sharing knowledge;
  • Participate in the internal pipeline meetings with a proactive behavior, sharing knowledge among team members;
  • Contribute with the professional development of the more junior employees.;
  • Backup of other team members related to any deal, when necessary;
  • Follow all Rabobank's policies;
