THE ROLE
The Head of Operations and Delivery is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects and services to our key government and enterprise accounts in Brazil.
This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate various teams and stakeholders throughout the delivery and customer life cycle.
The role will report to the Brazil CEO.Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Support:
- Lead and motivate crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Resolve challenges, conflicts or issues within the team and identify optimisation opportunities
Customer & Project Analysis, Planning and Coordination:
- Develop project plans and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Understand, document and consult on key customer objectives.
- Coordinate resources, including internal and external team members to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor progress and identify potential risks or issues that may impact delivery.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, including scope changes, resource constraints, and technical challenges.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on customers, project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to gather requirements and address customer and project lifecycle concerns.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment between stakeholders and project objectives.
- Understand the customer's objectives and work with internal and external stakeholders to optimally champion their success.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to evaluate customer & project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular customer and project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, issues, and next steps.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on delivering complex projects or products within schedule constraints.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in
Portuguese and
English. - Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project risks.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday or Asana.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Availability for hybrid work (3 days inperson and 2 days remote) in São Paulo
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements throughout the customer and project lifecycle.
