- Reviews, drafts, and negotiates contracts and other legal documents in Portuguese, English and Spanish, including in particular, clinical trial agreements.
- May interact directly with PSI's clients and other business partners regarding various legal matters, as needed.
- Identifies, researches, and analyzes various legal aspects and questions and assessing their impact on PSI's businesses.
- Provides legal advice and support on labour law, real estate and other corporate legal matters.
- Supports and ensures compliance with existing PSI policies, procedures, and instructions relating to legal matters.
- Provides support and/or training within the Legal Department and/or cross-functionally to other PSI departments.
- Assists in any other legal or administrative matters as requested.
- Law degree, with sound knowledge of contract and corporate law
- Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish oral and written
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to clinical trials, including ICH GCP
- Knowledge of commercial, corporate and contract law, as well as other relevant legislation (e.g. data protection, labor law)
- 1-2 years of experience at a law firm or in-house position, ideally with international exposure; experience in contract drafting and negotiations is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, in particular MS Word
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently but also within a team
- Pragmatic approach with a strong drive on delivering quality results
