Sysadmin/it infrastructure analyst - Endpoint Support and IT Infrastructure Management


Position Summary:

Responsibilities:


Endpoint Support:

• Provide technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Ensure systems are up to date with the latest security patches and fixes.
• Monitor and resolve endpoint performance issues, ensuring system stability and efficiency.

Antivirus Maintenance:

• Perform installation, configuration, and updates of antivirus software on all devices.
• Regularly monitor and analyze antivirus reports to detect and resolve potential security threats.
• Implement security policies to prevent and combat malware and virus infections.

Network and Firewall Management:

• Configure, maintain, and monitor the computer network, ensuring proper functioning and security of the network infrastructure.
• Administer firewalls and other security solutions to protect the network from unauthorized access and external threats.
• Identify and resolve connectivity and network performance issues.

IT Asset Management:

• Maintain an uptodate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
• Coordinate the lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition, installation, maintenance, to proper disposal.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and software licensing.

Vendor Collaboration:

• Collaborate with hardware, software, and IT service vendors to ensure the delivery of appropriate solutions and efficient problem resolution.
• Negotiate support contracts and agreements with vendors.

Support Ticket Handling:

• Receive, record, and resolve support tickets related to IT infrastructure problems.
• Prioritize and resolve tickets within established deadlines.
• Document and track ticket progress, ensuring user satisfaction.

Access Controls:

• Manage physical and logical access control policies, including access card systems and central CCTV camera control.
• Configure and maintain physical access control systems, ensuring facility security and restricting unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with our security teams in India to ensure compliance with physical access and monitoring policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sysadmin, it infrastructure analyst or in a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating system administration.
• Strong English communication skills will be crucial for effectively collaborating with our international teams.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, routers, switches, and communication protocols.
• Experience in administering firewalls and security solutions.
• Understanding of antivirus and endpoint security techniques.
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are desirable.

Manutenção de Antivírus:

• Realizar a instalação, configuração e atualização de software antivírus em todos os dispositivos.
• Monitorar e analisar regularmente os relatórios de antivírus para detectar e resolver possíveis ameaças à segurança.
• Implementar políticas de segurança para prevenir e combater infecções por malware e vírus.

Gerenciamento de Rede e Firewall:

• Configurar, manter e monitorar a rede de computadores, garantindo o bom funcionamento e a segurança da infraestrutura de rede.
• Administrar firewalls e outras soluções de segurança para proteger a rede contra acesso não autorizado e ameaças externas.
• Identificar e resolver problemas de conectividade e desempenho da rede.

Gerenciamento de Ativos de TI:

• Manter um inventário atualizado de todos os ativos de TI, incluindo hardware, software e licenças.
• Coordenar o ciclo de vida dos ativos de TI, desde aquisição, instalação, manutenção e descarte adequado.
• Garantir a conformidade com as políticas de segurança e licenciamento de software.

Contato com Fornecedores:

• Colaborar com fornecedores de hardware, software e serviços relacionados a TI para garantir a entrega de soluções adequadas e resolução eficiente de problemas.
• Negociar contratos e acordos de suporte com fornecedores.
