Local Unit & Position Description:


DNV Maritime is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Rio de Janeiro to deliver support services for our operations in South America, including Brazil, Argentina and Chile.


Main tasks

  • Ensure that the work or duties performed are in accordance with instructions, guidelines and quality requirements of the organization and the instructions of the line management
  • Carry out finance administrative duties, such as invoicing and control of accounts receivable
  • Support administrative activities, such as documentation control, of maritime projects
  • Coordination of PPE (Protective Personal Equipment) inventory, including request of material purchase
  • Maintain the confidentiality of Clients' business, processes, designs, developments and documentation at all times
  • Communicate to line management at the earliest appropriate opportunity if in receipt of information that is important to the reputation or integrity of the organization

Position Qualifications:

Position:


  • University degree or under graduation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Previous experience of at least 2 years as Administrative Assistant, or similar
  • Portuguese language speaking/writing proficiency is mandatory
  • Very good English skills required, written and verbal
  • Broad awareness/understanding of general/best practice finance processing flow and steps, and familiarity with compliance and legal finance processes in Brazil
