DepartmentOperations- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationBrazil - São PauloThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products.

The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team:

Operations Strategy team
Responsible for continuous improvement in the Operations area, provoking and executing structural changes (business rules, processes, UX, and communication plans). This position requires high capacity for complex data analysis to bring about structural changes to improve the experience of users and partners, with transformation of internal and external processes through concrete initiatives and power of influence for negotiation and management of numerous stakeholders (Logistics, Product, Returns and Refunds, Payments, Fraud, Customer Service and others).
Lead strategic, multifunctional, and highly complex projects Work in cooperation with other areas to ensure consistency in ways of working and achieve the company's strategic objectives
Establish governance with client area leaders to understand and meet their needs Map the endtoend crossfunctional process, identify potential bugs and opportunities for improvement, and involve all impacted stakeholders
Have critical capacity and macroprocess vision to provoke strategic discussions to stimulate continuous improvement initiatives, based on KPIs to achieve operational excellence by identifying anomalies and developing preventive and reactive action plans
Perform data extraction and manipulation to generate highimpact analyses that allow an understanding of the structural pains of the Operations area
Create and actively participate in problemsolving forums with the aim of identifying opportunities for improvement, escalating needs, and ensuring progress on relevant initiatives Prepare presentations with the aim of reporting the progress of initiatives to senior leadership and ensuring change management with its stakeholders
Work with the Regional team to share best practices and implement them when appropriate Work with the Regional team to take the needs of the local team (tools, capabilities, etc.) and raise the maturity level of the areas

Requirements:

Academic Education in Administration, Engineering, and related areasMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, and PPT), Google Suite (Sheets, doc, and Slides) SQL at least basic (intermediate desirable) and interest in learningKnowledge of BPMN tools and methodology for process mapping (Visio, Bizagi, among others)Fluent English for writing, reading, and speakingProject management, data analysis, operational excellence, and Marketplace (desirable)
