Responsibilities:


The Materials Management Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations by monitoring inventory levels, analyzing data, and developing strategies to ensure efficient materials management.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in developing materialsrelated forecasts and procurement plans.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, quality control, and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate materialsrelated metrics to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of inventory transactions.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to materials management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Generate and monitor spreadsheet to assist in repair management process.
  • Use datadriven insights to make recommendations for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Monitor the status of supplier deliveries and transportation partners, proactively communicating any delays or issues.
  • Update the Siscomex system for entrance of DI's (Import Declaration) in Repetro System.
  • Update the prealert of AWB & B/L control's system.
  • Physical conference and identification of imported materials when needed
  • Checking and preparing all the invoices from the brokerage and from the freight forwarder for payment
  • Monitoring all the clearance of the import process with the brokerage and freight forwarder and Completion of the importations process
  • Elaborate the export documentation to the rigs
  • Be responsible for SEI system, following up NF expiring dates and proactively request extensions when applicable.
  • Be proactive in identifying and resolving issues related to stock discrepancies, material damages, and other logístical matters.
  • Actively contribute to HSE procedures implementation / revision based on daily activities (e.g., JSA, toolbox talk, etc)
  • Preparation of all loads out check lists and necessary information (CCU checklist, material Allocation check list, NF, SAP RT & Cargo manifest)
  • Maintain constant communication with rig storekeeper as well as operations team to ensure all operational needs are treated with the necessary priority.
  • Ensure full compliance with Diamond Offshore Global Excellence Management System (G.E.M.S.)
  • Assure participation in the morning meeting with warehouse team.
  • Establish good and clear communication with the warehouse team, assisting them to follow operational requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, materials management, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Materials / Logistics department
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and maintain detailed stock records.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to interact with colleagues, suppliers, and internal teams in Portuguese.
  • Intermediary English
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, logistics concepts, and transportation regulations.
  • Capacity to identify emerging issues and find effective solutions.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals.

Preferred:


  • Drilling Industry Experience
  • Post-Graduation completed or on going
