The position

By joining our team in Legal you will have the opportunity to:

Be part of the midstream, marketing and processing legal team in Equinor Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.

The work will consist of:

Work on negotiation and drafting of contracts and documentation related to all mid

- and downstream aspects of Equinor's activities in Brazil with focus on gas projects, such as offshore and onshore gas transportation and processing agreements, gas sales agreements, gas and crude lifting and balancing agreements, tie-in agreements and JV (Joint Venture) agreements;

Advise on all regulatory and legal aspects on gas and crude marketing and transportation, including shipping, as well as gas processing activities in Brazil, whether onshore or offshore;
Provide legal support to midstream, marketing and processing related business development projects in country;
Follow up on regulatory and legal developments relevant for the Brazilian mid

- and downstream business area.

For this position, we are also looking for:

Bachelordegree from a Brazilian university with good results. Master of Laws (L.L.M.) or other related Post Graduation is an advantage;
Qualified to practice law in Brazil (active OAB);
Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the Brazilian energy industry as inhouse legal counsel or as a lawyer in a law firm with international clients or other relevant private or public practice;
Broad experience in working with gasrelated issues in Brazil
Experience in mid

- and downstream, shipping and low carbon solutions business activities/projects beyond gas

Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills;
Fluency in Portuguese and English (oral and written) is mandatory.
