As a Business Finance Director, you'll play a key role in driving the growth and performance of the organization and will serve as a primary finance business partner to the South Field (FEMSA) Franchise General Manager.

You will also manage financial planning and analysis activities to identify risks and opportunities, as well as contribute to achieving the organization's financial goals.


To be successful in this role, you should have global finance experience and the ability to do advanced financial analysis that has a significant financial impact.

It will also require leadership and negotiation skills, as well as being able to work together with our bottling partner to accelerate top-line growth, together with margin expansion of the Coca-cola/Bottlers system in Brazil.


This position will allow you to _learn _how our franchise system works, side by side with operations and bottlers teams.

You will also have a _high exposure_ with OU finance teams, giving you the opportunity to expand your network forward.


What You'll Do for Us:


  • Drive South field (FEMSA) operation P&L (Profit & Loss) growth and margin expansion across the full portfolio of products and all routestoconsumer, including volume, revenue, profit and margin analysis, and also supporting pricing and strategic investments decisions to ensure a healthy balance of the financial results and market share position.
  • Manage the relationship with the bottler concerning all financial matters, including leadership in the negotiations of new business models, such as the Long-Term Relationship Models (LTRMs), aligning ambitious growth plans supported by aggressive strategic investments and new revenue sources.
  • Support discussions and negotiations regarding new distribution agreements of noncompany products, including governance, business integrity and value sharing of such strategic agreements.
  • Support the development of new business models for new lines of business, such as Mineral Water and Flavored Alcoholic Beverages businesses, including negotiations with Co-Packers (or Toll Packers).
  • Analyze and understand the key drivers to Coca-Cola ́s revenue growth including the impact and implication of the Cocacola/bottlers system revenue dynamics.
  • Prepare & support internal stakeholders on ongoing negotiations.
  • Quantitative and qualitative local Bottler/Customer info.
  • Bringing margin discipline to operational business decisions.
  • Main point of contact for legal/Tax/Treasury/M&A at bottler level.
  • Provide Financial input into new product / service development process.
  • Support Financially all RGM initiatives deployment at bottler level.
  • Collaborates and fosters relationships with our local bottling.
  • Collaborates with Latam finance crossfunctional areas to ensure the processes are followed, maximizing the company results.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Masters preferred
- >8 years of leadership experience in senior financial planning or senior commercial finance roles

  • Track record of business/financial management involving influencing and negotiating with Bottlers and Customers, communicating effectively, and managing against business needs and collaborating with senior leaders.
  • Ability to drive a balanced approach as well as understand/articulate tradeoffs to achieving business targets in an optimized way (i.e., volume, profit, timing, speed, risk, shortterm vs. longterm metrics).
  • Financial acumen including management accounting, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, planning, value chain, marketing principles, risk management, global standards (business data, financial accounts and policies, marketing metrics, etc.).
  • Teamwork and collaboration attitude.
  • Must be fluent in English (required), Portuguese and/or Spanish.
