Work description:


Implementation and support of the fundamental layer (Platform) Components of a large and complex SAP scenario, following determined standards and guidelines.

Member of a global team.

Understand customer and technical business objectives and operate in a corporate environment.

Provide consultancy, when necessary, in the implementation of solutions using SAP and best practices developed by the company.

Work closely with experienced IT teams and have the ability to develop less experienced SAP teams.


Specifics tasks & responsibilities:


  • Install/upgrade and configure NetWeaver/HANA.
  • Ability to support NetWeaver/HANA multiserver deployments, including high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Configuration and implementation of SSO, Kerberos and HTTPS.
  • Interaction with supplier (SAP).
  • Configure alerts and polls (integrated and external e.g. SAP Focused Run, Solution Manager).
  • Keep system documentation always up to date with new components and other updates.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide recommendations for improvements (e.g., NetWeaver ABAP/Java, HANA).
  • Analyze and resolve performance issues on the system(s).
  • General troubleshooting (Level 2 and 3) on any of the named platforms.
  • Perform DR testing and cyber recovery
  • Possible availability for planting on weekends

Technical abilities:


  • A minimum of 10 years of strong technical skills in implementing and supporting SAP ECC, SAP NetWeaver ABAP/Java, HANA/Oracle database and S/4 HANA systems
  • Experience in Windows Server/UNIX/Linux administration
  • Three or more SAP full lifecycle implementations
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Experience in IT infrastructure
  • SAP Basis certification is an advantage
  • Some experience in Agile methodology
Education

A bachelor's degree in IT related field is required.
