TRADE MANAGER
MISSION:
Defining and executing the product and the commercial strategy for Profit & Loss optimization.
SCOPE OF RESPONSABILITIES:
Area of responsibility 1:
Line Studies
Perform Market and Capacity Deployment studies envisioning the company Middle and Long-Term strategy on asset requirements
Participate in establishing a budget. Estimating revenues, volumes and customers
Expected Results:
Business plans and budgets on company results for the short and long-term
Area of responsibility 2:
Commercial and Pricing Strategy and Performance
Develop and define the commercial and pricing policy of the trade and ensure its implementation with the Trade Team
Create, produce and analyze reports on business performance and budget variances. Suggest corrective and improvement actions
Define of loading priorities and capacity allocations
Analyze and communicate key performance indicators
Follow-up on key customers and negotiate their commercial contracts
Expected Results:
Profit & Loss results, Commercial Strategy defined and implemented.
Area of responsibility 3:
Cargo Flow Management
Optimize the vessel loadings in compliance with the Company Strategy
Suggest and initiate short/long term action plan in case of over and underused allocation
Coordination of the required interactions with the VSA Partners and feeder customers
Expected Results:
Asset utilization optimized
Area of responsibility 4:
Team Management
Manage team members to get the best performance of each one
Guarantee that the team has the appropriate profile for the activities.
Develop people for succession plan
Expected Results:
Staff engaged to exceed goals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Degree:
Degree required in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics and related
IT and System Requirements:
Advanced level of Microsoft Office, BI Tool desirable
Language:
English required
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience in Product Management, Shipping and/or Logistics, minimum 2 years of experience leading teams.
