This challenge awaits you:

We develop functions for the vehicle powertrain, from requirements assessment to function validation.

In modern powertrains, the focus is not only on classic combustion engines, but also on hybrid/electrified and purely electric configurations.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

Your Tasks:

Functional development for powertrain controls on the topics of operating strategy, drivability, thermal management, energy management and predictive driving and assistance functions.
Identification of system functions at the interface between vehicle and drive
Work as proactively and proactively as possible
Affinity to programming languages (Python, Matlab, C++ etc.)
Good knowledge of English, German desirable

Calibration
Feature development

Possible Technical Topics:

Torque and High Voltage Energy Management (including Charging) of PHEV/BEV
Thermal Management of ICE/PHEV

Requisitos e qualificações

This speaks for you:

Necessary knowledge:

Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent with focus on thermodynamics/combustion engines or control engineering, alternatively qualification as technician with relevant work experience.
Demonstrated ability to understand complex electronic and mechanical systems
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a team and execute technical assignments with minimum direction
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with powertrain calibration as applied to air system, fuel system, possibly aftertreatment system, transmission system
Familiarity and confident handling of common calibration / testing / evaluation software tools (e. g. INCA / CANalyzer)
