The position will be based in São Paulo and will have a direct reporting line to the Accounting Manager.

The professional will be responsible for supporting the preparation of local financial statements and the external auditing process across the company.

Also, he/she will be in charge of accounting closing activities ensuring the integrity of numbers in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

This position must maintain an in depth, and up to date knowledge and understanding of IFRS principles.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

Participate in the month end close including, analysis of P&L and balance sheet, preparing journal entries, performing monthly account reconciliations, and preparing management reports.
Variance analysis
Prepare and post complex journal entries, as leases under IFRS, intercompany prepayment, etc.
Support the coordination of Internal and External audits:
Participate in the year end audit of financials statements including drafting note disclosures, obtaining audit support, and responding to auditor inquiries
Work with different teams across the company, such as tax, treasury and FP&A
Support in multiple adhoc tasks, including creating new reports, reconciliations, and processes to enhance the integrity of financial information
Initiate and drive projects to enhance and automate internal controls over financial reporting (system enhancements, integrations, implementations, etc.,)

Requisitos e qualificações

Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting,
English (minimum intermediate level)
