Responsibilities of the Sales Solution Architect

  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with business partners within Brazil and the LATAM region and assist them with technical support and training to configure our solutions and on the installation and the setup of them.
  • Train our growing sales force and help them to build/execute tactical and strategic consultative sales plans with the team for prospective new clients to achieve the revenue targets (quota) as directed by the Business.
  • Develop, present, and demonstrate Toshiba solutions with the Sales team in group meetings emphasizing salable features such as company vision, strategy, retail hardening, product/systems architecture, flexibility of design. Provide process reengineering opportunities using company assets.
  • Responsible for the Showroom and Demos available for customers in our office in Brazil.
  • Responsible for achieving the revenue, profit, and product objectives assigned primarily to specific accounts and in support of Brazil and Latin America region.
  • If needed, provide guidance to our customers and partners for the use of the Support tools and the Support team available in order to solve problems and show them the benefits with our brand.
  • Provide technical support, feedback and consultation to the development organization to help facilitate product defects and resolution. Participates in the "Voice of Customer Satisfaction" in problem resolution.
  • Provide input and consultation into the Product Development Organization with "Voice of Customer" requirements, enhancements, solutioning, etc.
  • Maintain constant awareness of markets, competitor activities and problems within the industry, recognize developing trends, and make appropriate strategic and tactical sales/marketing/program recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Responds to customers RFP/RFI Requests in a timely and professional manner to facilitate success.
  • Maintain up to date and accurate expense plans, sales activity tracking and related databases.
  • Support software houses in Brazil to allow their software solutions to work seamlessly on our hardware, providing software and hardware tweaks.
  • Manage software houses in Brazil that have homologate our products, maintaining a strong relationship with the most relevant ones to ensure that our products (hardware or software) remain fully compatible over time with their solutions.

Required Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer Engineer or equivalent with retail experience.
  • Previous experience in presales technical expertise to the sales team, partners (ISVs and Resellers) and customers during the sales process.
  • Indepth knowledge and experience in retail and storebased solutions is essential. This includes understanding the challenges and requirements specific to the retail industry, such as point of sale systems, inventory management, customer experience, mobile shopping, ecommerce, and store operations that make up the retail enterprise.
  • Strong consultative selling skills are necessary to engage with clients, understand their business requirements, and offer tailored solutions. The ability to build relationships, actively listen, and provide strategic guidance to address client and partners needs is crucial.
  • Experience in architecting and implementing these solutions encompassing support, installation services/systems Integration, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in configuring devices on both Windows and Linux platforms is necessary. This includes the ability to set up, troubleshoot, and integrate different hardware and software components to deliver comprehensive solutions. Eventually, some programming in offtheshelf languages will be needed in both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience as business analyst, investigates business needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the solution design with hardware and/or software solutions.
  • Ability to whiteboard solutions interactively with clients/ prospects and develop targeted software solutions.
  • You will be working with a multifunctional team, so strong collaboration skills are essential. This involves effectively communicating with colleagues, sales representatives, and other stakeholders to develop, promote, and sell targeted solutions that meet the clients' needs.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills are necessary to understand client requirements, identify potential challenges, and propose appropriate solutions. The ability to think critically and offer innovative approaches is important.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and win the confidence of C-Level executives.
  • Languages where professional proficiency is required: Portuguese and English, Spanish will be a plus.
