Eaton's looking for a Quality Manager to work in our Valinhos' Plant.


What you'll do:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

(OPEX) Establish and maintain the EBS (Eaton Business System) culture in the plant, evaluating EBS through assessments (EBE, OpA, EQS, ELSS, EHS, PROLaunch), coordinating as necessary corrective and preventive actions, including training.

(OPEX) Establish and maintain quality management systems including administration, operation, inspection and test activities, calibration and metrological management to guarantee the quality the product and conformance to customer ́s requirements.

(OPEX) Direction, implementation and leadership of Quality Planning for the plant. It also includes the support to B. Units and Forge Shop on operational quality management, allowing the organization to achieve internal and external quality levels that are compatible with world-class supplier requirements

(OPEX) Coordination of first, second and third part audits aiming the maintenance, effectiveness and efficacy of the quality management system to be in compliance with ISO/TS and with customer ́s specific requirements.

(OPEX) Lead Continuous Improvement efforts, Introducing philosophies and techniques that lead to the achievement of superior quality standards and results, improve of the Business Processes, and achieve customer satisfaction, enhancing the strategy for customer ́s loyalty.

(OPEX) Leader and define directives to the B. Unit Quality Managers in regards to the evaluation and improvement of the processes, analysis, adoption of corrective actions and process audits in order to keep the integration of the Quality and OPEX plan through Facility.

(SQE) Conduct Suppliers the Quality and Process audits (VDA, PSO, Eaton audits, etc), to drive performance improvement or to solve quality issues. Set action plans with suppliers and follow-up action plan execution.

(SQE) Execute PPAP approval process, assuring a quality and on-time approval.

(SQE) Continually monitors suppliers Performance status (PPM and DMR) and overall supplier performance at assigned plants. Performs fundamental data analysis (Quality systems, PPM, DMR) to determine performance level of suppliers and drive action plans as required, escalating to SDE/SCM when necessary.

(SQE) Works with suppliers and plant quality to implement effective 8D corrective action and comprehensive performance improvement plans as required. Works collaboratively with SDE and effective escalate major supplier issues when necessary.

(RI) Manage and execute the Receiving Inspection activities in order to guarantee the Product Quality defining the inspection plans, sampling quantities and frequencies, skip lot, containment actions, sorting and non-conform material disposition, initiating DMRs, performing PPAP sample dimensional verification, updating WISPER, communicating to suppliers as needed, and other.

(OPEX) Manage internal performance, being responsible for reliable data in the Enterprise Performance Measurement (EPM), deploying as defined in the process, like in the M5 and M3 meetings, High 5, Monthly reports, and other

(OPEX) Manage external performance, being responsible to access in the minimum necessary timeframe the customer systems, to evaluate current performance and prompt any preventive or corrective action by any internal or external department.

Qualifications:


Required knowledge and Experience:


  • Avaiability to work OnSite at our Valinhos' plant
  • Experience as a manager o people
  • Experience in using quality tools/methodologies (PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, auditing).
  • Desirable knowledge of Automotive Industry specific quality registration (ISO/TS16949)
  • Fluency in English as we require constant contact with other countries
