Purpose:


Johnson & Johnson - Technology Services - is looking to hire a Salesforce Engineer to work in the LATAM Development Center.


First and foremost, we seek a kind and adaptable person who can collaborate with many different types of people who request our technology expertise and influence.

Our work spans all Johnson & Johnson's business units, so it is imperative that you can multi-task and efficiently lead opposing priorities.

Strong communication skills are just as relevant as technical acuity.

You shall serve as a role model for several hundred software developers, so treating others with dignity and respect, while embodying the values of our Credo, are a must.

You will be responsible for:


  • Work with the team to structure roadmaps for assigned platforms.
  • Ensure technology stack standard methodologies, automation, scalable design, and programmatic standards.
  • Propose ideas for innovative ways to improve assigned technology platforms.
  • Serve as an inspiring collaborator for our engineering community.
  • Mentor and be mentored by other engineers by leading and collaborating in all engineering discussions and voicing support for engineering methodologies.

Qualifications:


Required:


  • University Degree (Bachelor's or Technologist). Information Technology courses related is recommended.
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience working with agile software development teams.
  • A knowledge of Oriented Objects Concepts, Javascript, and RESTFUL interfaces (SOAP/REST).
  • Experience in programming Apex, SFDC declarative build, and/or Salesforce certifications.

Preferred:


  • 2+ years of Salesforce Development Experience.
  • Experience with source code management using Git/BitBucket.
  • Experience in Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and tools migration for projects on various platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab, or others.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, especially JIRA.
  • Microsoft Dynamics knowledge/previous experience is a plus for this position.
