About us
Vehicle Engineering (VE) is an organization responsible for the Product Development of Volvo Trucks in Latin America. The Curitiba site is expanding globally in collaboration with other development centers, especially in Sweden and the US.


Group Manager - CEIP & Tanks, Chassis Electrical Installation and Pneumatics & Tanks


We are looking for a Group Manager to lead our recently created team, responsible for complete installation solutions of electrical and pneumatics systems, as well as the development of various tank systems.

This position involves both local and global projects, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.


Mission and Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and manage the CEIP & Tanks group in VE Chassis Curitiba
  • Foster strong connections with Volvo headquarters in Sweden and US sites
  • Act as the Product Owner for related components, facilitating crossfunctional discussions
  • Oversee competence development for all team members
  • Manage resources, recruit, and retain skilled engineers
  • Control department budget and expenses
  • Continuously improve work processes, methods, and tools
  • Foster a strong team spirit within the group

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong experience in Product Development in the automotive industry
  • Leadership experience, either directly managing an engineering group or through project management
  • Business and customerfocused mindset
  • Passion for technical development and detail
  • Fluent in English
