Our Team:
We work alongside Wood Mackenzie's regional/global oil and gas sector experts to deliver research and consulting projects and provide economic valuation and analysis of thousands of oil and gas fields.
About the role:
In this role you will have the chance to:
- Actively contribute to defined research projects and conduct secondary research, putting theory into practice.
- Model and economically analyse oil and gas fields as well as follow up closely on oil and gas companies' releases and understand the impact on their strategy and portfolio valuation
- Collect data and check the alignment of our databases with official figures from local and public sources, such as national energy balances, energy regulatory agency reports, amongst others
- Collaborate with analysts to answer client requests/presentations, and react to events in the upstream industry to provide our clients with timely, updated analysis
Requirements:
Studying towards a Bachelor's degree, Technician or professional qualification with a quantitative, statistical, energy, finance and/or economics focus (such as engineering, geology, computational science, etc).

- Willingness to learn about our business from the ground up
- Adaptability and organisational skills
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel
- Basic to Intermediate English (required), Spanish knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Python/automatic data scrapping methods is a plus.
