The Analyst, Asset Management, will support directly Latin America team members in all aspect asset management activities on behalf of Ivanhoé Cambridge.

The incumbent is responsible for gathering, tracking, and managing financial and asset management information for the portfolio.

He or she helps monitor the business plan and annual budgets for each asset, platform, and entity for the entire Latin America portfolio.

The incumbent also interacts with partners and internal departments.

  • Your duties will include the following:_
  • Assist the team regarding the assets to maximize returns/value and to ensure compliance with various investment agreements in accordance with the business practices of Ivanhoe Cambridge;
  • Analyze and interpret financial reports and monthly/quarterly management reports about approved business plans and budgets and issue the appropriate recommendations;
  • Create, maintain and update complex financial models for real estate projects and operating companies;
  • Assist on different management meetings, represent the Company and maintain excellent business relations with partners of Ivanhoé Cambridge;
  • Ensure the implementation of obligations under partnership agreements and ensure appropriate followup including supporting documentation;
  • Prepare and present the necessary analysis and documents for internal approval;
  • Analyze, recommend and implement the adoption of the annual operating budgets and capital as well as business plans for each asset under its responsibility and ensure compliance with deadlines;
  • Analyze, review and qualify opportunities for disposition of assets and its implications to the strategic plan of the Company and make recommendations;
  • Visit properties and/or construction sites, in accordance with the schedule established with the immediate supervisor;
  • Revise 3rd party appraisal reports for the properties under management;
  • Ensure the implementation of control measures and management of risks associated with assets under management;
  • Carry out any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor or required as part of the job.


The skills of success- Bachelor's degree in finance, administration, economics, accounting, engineering, or real estate;- Professional title (CFA, CPA or C.App.) an asset;- One to three years of related experience;- Excellent written and spoken English and Portuguese.

Written and spoken French and Spanish is a strong asset;- Strong analytical and information processing skills;- Solid skills with Excel and PowerPoint.

Argus Enterprise and Power BI software knowledge an asset;- Team-oriented, self-directed, inquisitive, driven and committed to continuous quality improvement;- Result oriented, demonstrated achiever;- Adaptability, have a sense of business, be skilled communicator;- Available to travel from time to time;- Position based in Sao Paulo, Brazil or Montreal, Canada.
