Work on design, coding, and quality assurance tasks of specific product features.
Engaging in development tasks within the field of cloud computing utilizing various technologies such as Java, Python, Shell, Docker, and Kubernetes, while implementing a microservices architecture.
Contribute to the team by conducting development investigations and resolving bugs.
Expand your expertise in object stores offered by leading cloud providers.
Be in close touch with the best minds in the industry in our region.
Learn how continuous integration works in a global development environment.
Work in an agile team, that uses Scrum framework to selforganize and work towards the development goals.
Be part of a DevOps culture where the CI/CD practices are put in practice.
Be part of a globally distributed group that has an enormous impact in the Enterprise Software industry on a global scale.

What you bring:

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Current studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an IT related bachelor courses
Advanced or fluent English
Good programming skills, knowledge of algorithms, data structures, space and runtime complexity (Big-O notation)
Willing to take ownership, drive new developments and work creatively on challenging and groundbreaking tasks in accordance with the highest technical standards, plus a high level of commitment, team spirit, flexibility and initiative.

Meet your team:

The Big Data Fabric Services team is responsible for:

Extend and complete SAP Data Platform with Big Data technologies to support different SAP line of business.
Leverage Apache Spark and Object store technology to provide scalable and costeffective compute and storage services for big data ingestion, processing and sharing.
Integrate into SAP BTP and HANA Cloud & Data Lake to offer unified development and deployment experience for different SAP line of business.
Assure multitenancy and secure data processing.

In BDFS team we have an agile and collaborative culture where the knowledge sharing is fostered. The team is currently located in São Leopoldo (BR) and Palo Alto (US)
