Boeing Brazil is seeking
Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager, reporting to the Structures Senior Manager, working out of the
Sao Jose dos Campos office.

The
Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager will to join the Structures Design and Stress team and will find leaders to fill multiple spots within our organization.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering and Design
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Establish an open, inclusive, and innovative team culture
Lead, develop and engage our people within multiple Engineering disciplines

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
Must have a Bachelor degree in Engineering
Experience in Engineering design and/or analysis
Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
Strong execution, communication, and collaboration skills
Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:

Experience leading or managing technical teams. Experience with product integrity and inservice safety, and/or mission assurance
Experience with inservice fleet support
Experience in leading, coaching and developing others (including those who are not your direct reports)
Strong analytic and research skills must be detail oriented
