Purpose:
Positions holders focus on the effectiveness and efficiency of Aggreko's assets, including:

  • Developing and planning standard maintenance schedules (including installation, commissioning, disassembly and movement of equipment).
  • Identifying opportunities and technical changes in design and/or asset deployment to optimise asset performance.
  • Ensuring reliability through proactively identifying and correcting standard and more complex problems and conducting routine testing and analysis on failures.
  • May identify and escalate OEM / Supplier / Product level issues.

Accountability Level:
Management level positions managing/supervising experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Focuses on policy and business plan implementation for short-term results (1 year or less). May set goals and objectives for team members for the achievement of operational/Job Family Group results. Manages projects and processes that are moderately complex with little oversight


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that regular maintenance and servicing of all equipment is carried out in accordance with Aggreko service procedures.
  • Manage and implement site installations (to designed layout), commissioning and decommissioning to acceptable Aggreko standards and conduct regular inspections.
  • Ensure that accurate information is reported through the current ERP system.
  • Identify common repeat failures on equipment to prevent reoccurrence using available data and resources and communicate to relevant teams.
  • Ensure that local purchases are conducted in line with the approved supplier's list and passed to the relevant department for processing.
  • Provide technical support for equipment breakdowns in timely manner including after work hours where necessary.
  • Manage the service team to achieve forecasted goals and effectively manage P&L related responsibilities.
  • Conduct induction, performance appraisal, development and training of direct reports.
  • Coach and train all direct reports on Aggreko procedures including EH&S Best Operating Policy & ISO9001:2000 and ensure compliance.
Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Advanced English Level
