The Role

  • The HR Manager Brazil will be responsible for compliance of people related matters and projects in the Country (such as benefits, labour relations, recruitment, restructuring, performance management, retention, OPEX control, and costsaving, etc) ensuring the implementation of Planet's policies, procedures and guidelines are in line with current employment law and Planet's strategy and demanded timelines.
  • The HR function at Planet operates in a matrix environment, and it is therefore paramount for the HR Manager Brazil to demonstrate the ability to work in similar international structures, and to navigate multiple reporting lines within the checks and balances of good Governance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as HR representative in Brazil, both towards internal stakeholders and external entities to provide trustful guidance on people matters like, for instance, Brazilian employment contract and compensation benchmark.
  • Work as part of the Brazil Leadership Team, take ownership of countryrelated topics, and successfully deliver commercially focused, clientresponsive solutions whilst ensuring compliance with local policy and legislation.
  • Liaison with the CHRO and the HR community in the country included the Construction Site HR representatives for delivering support to line managers, both according to the Planet procedures, as well as in line with the business demands.
  • Responsible for managing industrial relationships in the Country.
  • Advise stakeholders (internal or external) about the frame of local legislation, proactively raise eventual constraints and mitigation to be considered, in order to ensure compliance in the implementation of Planet's management decisions.
  • Drive local policy on disciplinary and grievance, coordinating the necessary steps of these processes within the Country or construction sites in coordination with stakeholders, in order to guarantee compliant decision making.
  • Promote and monitor HR projects within the Country or construction sites (e.g., employees' engagement strategy for the country, employees' benefits package, culture, and values), in order to contribute to leveraging employees' engagement and the branding of the company within the Country.
  • May serve as a point of contact to labour and government regulatory agencies.
  • Provide advice and coaching to line managers in the Country according to established Corporate and local HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead the Country in taking care of all people's leadership responsibilities, expressing, driving, and promoting the company's culture and values.

Experience

  • Essential_
  • 5+ years' experience as HR generalist ideally within a fastpaced global matrix organisation.
  • Knowledge and expertise related to HR policies, processes, and practices of Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management, Leadership Development, and International Mobility.
  • Business planning, management skills, and team leadership.
  • Business understanding and commercially savvy.
  • Preferable_
  • Experience in Construction, residential Real Estate, Proptech.

Education, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Essential_
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Deep knowledge of employmentrelated laws and regulations, HR concepts, and expertise.
  • Assertiveness, interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders with employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • Credibility and recognition of ethical behaviour.
  • Analytical and fast decisionmaking skills.
  • Adaptation and flexibility to act in a changing and complex environment, with a multitasking mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in alignment with Global HR.
  • Strong detail orientation, followup, and organisational skills.
  • Formidable team player.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written; proven experience in establishing, maintaining, and developing working relationships at all levels.
  • Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.

  • Ability to speak Italian and/or Spanish.
