Responsibilities:

The Opportunity

Performs physicochemical analysis in foods using Basic and High-Technology Instrumentation in the analytical laboratory obtaining fundamental insights needed to support new product development and other R&D programs and projects.

The position supports product development for Foods and Beverages categories for Brazil and LATAM South ́s OUs.

Your Impact
As R&D Asst Scientist your functions would consist of:

Perform Foods Testing using Basic and High Technology Instrumentation, examples are LC/MS/MS, Robot for sample preparation, Gas Chromatography, Infrared Spectrophotometry, and Farinographic Testing in Snack ́s raw materials and Finished Products. Execution.
Implementation and Validation of new Analytical Methods in R&D Analytical Laboratory according to Pepsico Global Standards, Execution.
Development of Specific Instruments Calibrations for New Products, Execution.
Collaborate with Global Groups on Analytical Method Armonization process, Making decisions and being informed.
Elaboration of Laboratory Operating Procedures, Execution.
Provide Basic maintenance to High Technology Instrumentation, Execution.
Laboratory consumables and chemicals inventory management, Execution.

Qualifications:

A graduate of the career of Food Chemistry, Food Scientist or related.

-
Languages: Portuguese (native), Spanish Basic, English: Conversational / Technical.

Basic software management (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
