OVERVIEW:

Sportradar is the leading global provider of sports betting and sports entertainment products and services.

Since 2001, we have occupied a unique position at the intersection of the sports, media, and betting industries; providing sports federations, news media, consumer platforms and sports betting operators with a range of solutions to help grow their business.


The Sportradar sales team is responsible for the sales of all Betradar and Sportradar products and solutions, which make up over 90% of the Sportradar business.

The sales team consists of more than 70 people from around the world, serving over 1,000 clients and partners in more than 80 countries.

The international setup requires collaboration and communication, which is driven by a knowledge management platform where information and experiences can easily be shared, added, and discovered.

The unit uses several tools and channels to ensure information sharing, internal communication, and workforce productivity.


We are looking for an experienced Sales Director who is an enthusiastic and tech-savvy networker to identify and establish client relationships.

Our international environment, direct client communication, and a broad selection of technically oriented products and services make this position very diverse and challenging.


THE CHALLENGE:


  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Identify sales prospects, follow up on new leads and referrals.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships to identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and draft sales contracts.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Regularly visit our existing and potential customers, as well as attend conferences at home and abroad
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, followup, and adherence to goals.
  • Elaborate sales budgets for the assigned sales regions
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activities to appropriate company staff.
  • Use and maintain the internal administration tools especially the internal CRM system.

YOUR PROFILE:


  • Undergraduate degree (or higher) with a focus in Sales, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Work experience in a similar role of 24 years
  • Fluent in Portuguese (native Brazilian would be preferred) and English (both written and verbal)
  • Relationship management and networking skills
  • Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong drive for results with a proven track record of achievement
  • Selfmotivated and have a professional discipline with excellent followthrough.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure.
  • Natural interest and understanding for technical solutions.
  • Familiar with CRM systems, Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sports, betting/gambling, and technology is considered a plus.
