Level of experience: InternRINA Brasil is now searching for a
Marine Engineering Intern (Offshore Analysis) for our office in downtown Rio de Janeiro within the Division.

Mission:

The intern will collaborate extensively in offshore analysis projects to understand process control to gain hands-on experience in the analysis and design of offshore structures using analyses softwares

Responsibilities:

As a
Marine Engineering Intern (offshore analysis), your assignments may include:

Assist in the analysis and design of offshore structures such as oil rigs, platforms, and subsea pipelines.
Utilize industrystandard software tools for structural analysis, including but not limited to ANSYS, Abaqus, and OrcaFlex.
Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct finite element analysis (FEA), dynamic response analysis, and fatigue analysis of offshore structures.
Support the development of engineering models and simulations to evaluate the performance and integrity of offshore installations under various environmental conditions. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation related to offshore analysis projects.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled at a university and must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any other related fields (5th semester
onward);
Strong desire to immerse in the Offshore and Oil and Gas world;
Intermediate to advanced English (it will be tested);
Ability to perform in project management activities and work well in a team environment;
Be familiar with analysis software packages commonly used in the offshore engineering industry (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, OrcaFlex);
Knowledge of MS Office tools; Good interpersonal and communication skills;

Workplace:
downtown Rio de Janeiro (66 Assembleia Street)
Hybrid work (after the first two months on-site)
