New Business Jr. Group Manager LatAm to be based in
São Paulo, Brasil.

General description:

LatAm's New Business Manager will be accountable for Seeding the New Business Capability within the region. Will be accountable to maximize our inorganic growth behind incremental business opportunities that operate different to our regular business model, and that are on top of our core financial commitments (ie. Merges & Acquisitions, debut in new channels or new services).


Will be accountable of orchestrating the full process from mapping opportunities at a regional level, fed by the local, while guaranteeing we look for the highest bets regionally, testing by local markets, and then orchestrating its expansion where it makes sense.


Responsabilities:


  • Capability to influence any partner at any level to break the status quo, accelerate processes and remove obstacles when necessary, making things happen.
  • Seeds & incubates new sustainable and profitable opportunities that are on top of our core business, while connecting this opportunities with critical planning processes like Strat Plan
  • Leads Ideation Process and crafts Business Cases construction with an E2E LATAM collaborative team powered by local opportunities.
  • Leads all planning and analytics for phases previous to its execution, such as the "Exploration" & "Set Up" of new business opportunities across the region.
  • Coaches and supports local teams when testing a new business model within a geography. Gives tracking and visibility when piloting.
  • Leads New Business Model Pilot Expansion to other geographies, while gathering insights from local markets to ensure expansion and proposes Set Up and resources.
  • Lead full analytic and business case to untap Merges & Acquisitions opportunities that make sense regionally and fed by local input, but feasible considering global panorama.
  • Identifies growth accelerators capitalizing on internal and external best practices and partners' information (Nielsen, Kantar, etc).
  • In order to seed the capability within the region, it also needs to design a strategy to foster a start up culture throughout the organization while motivating and engaging all employees to think outside the box and share their disruptive business ideas with high potential to be developed as a new business.
  • Works cooperatively with internal key stakeholders in the Local and Regional Organization, aligning strategies, managing resources, pointing key drivers, and leveraging other capabilities.

Qualifications

Technical Competencies:


  • PnL management experience with strong business and consumption analytics experience.
  • Strong Strategic Thinking with capacity to abstract critical pieces of information while still capable of an E2E view.
  • Experience in managing self and other areas resources, with strong influence skills.
  • Strong communication skills guaranteeing clear alignment within different levels of the organization.

Main requirements:


  • Bachelor: Marketing or Business Administration, Industrial or Chemical Engineering
  • English (Advanced)
  • 7+ years of experience either in Strategic Planning or Brand Management.
  • Desirable Commercial Experience.
