About the Role


With our Head office based in Jundiaí, Brazil, this position will be reporting directly into the Divisional Sales Manager, Latin America.


Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Work with Group Solution Specialist, Branch Management and Regional Sales Managers to achieve regional sales targets and plan for the respective product line.
  • Initiate and support the quotation and sales activities with Regional Sales Managers and Group Solution Specialist for the respective product line in accordance with Sales Process.
  • Assist and support the Regional Sales Managers with training at specialist product information and value propositions aligned with the sales strategy.
  • Provide input to Divisional Sales Manager, marketing and engineering teams to help drive innovation requirements, pricing strategies and business intelligence information & competition analysis. Actively uses the Customer Experience Program coordinating with Marketing to identify opportunities for improvement across all stages of the customer journey.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or food technology.
  • Technicalcommercial skills to translate market and technological developments into development or innovation projects.
  • 10+ years' experience in a similar sales or sales engineering role in the confectionary, agrofood and/or snack food processing industry.

Desire Knowledge and Skills

  • Professional sales skills (building relationships, negotiation skills).
  • Able to lead technical and technological solution choices made throughout the sales process from scope definition through to handoff to project management.
  • Experience in taking responsibility for aligning company strategy and engineering and management positions to manage risk related to performance guarantees for proposed solutions.
  • Language skills: Fluency in English and local language (Spanish and Portuguese is a plus); proficiency in additional languages desirable.
  • Managing & monitoring KPI's.
  • Personal skills: team player, partnering, communicator.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers (internal and external) and vendors.
  • PC skills, including a sound understanding of spreadsheets, preparation of presentations and reports, including CRM.
  • Excellent organisational skills able to demonstrate the ability to monitor and track the progress of work, as well as follow up.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure. Ensures a collaborative approach. Seeks and listens to feedback across all areas of the business.
