Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join our team, focusing on the integration of legacy source systems into Bottomline DBIQ for enhanced treasury cash management solutions for our commercial customers.

This role involves leveraging the MuleSoft API platform to develop robust, scalable APIs and partner integrations.

Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining microservices using Java, SpringBoot, and Kubernetes hosted on premises or with GCP Cloud platforms.

(Please note that the legacy tech stack is on premises while the new tech stack is all cloud native.)


Responsibilities:


  • Designing and implementing APIs and integration solutions using the MuleSoft API platform to facilitate data transfer from legacy systems to Bottomline DBIQ.
  • Developing and maintaining microservices architecture by utilizing Java, MuleSoft, SpringBoot, and Kubernetes technologies, ensuring optimal deployment on GCP Cloud platforms.
  • Creating System, Process, and Experience APIs following MuleSoft architecture best practices.
  • Demonstrating expertise in database design by writing and tuning queries for PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or similar DBMS technologies.
  • Implementing serverless architecture and utilizing messaging systems on GCP or AWS cloud platforms to enhance system scalability and performance.
  • Leveraging modern CI/CD automation tools such as GitLab or Circle CI to streamline development processes. Utilizing JIRA for tracking work items.
  • Writing comprehensive automated test suites (unit tests, component tests) to ensure the robustness and reliability of developed systems.
  • Staying updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in payments, banking, and financial services to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience in building APIs and partner integrations using the MuleSoft API platform. Experience with API development using Anypoint and Cloudhub (Must Have)
  • Deep understanding of database design, query optimization, and experience with various DBMS technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, etc.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and messaging systems on cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
  • Proficiency with modern CI/CD automation tools such as GitLab or Circle CI.
  • Experience in writing automated test suites for software validation.
  • Knowledge and experience in the payments, banking, or financial services sectors.
